
The Orange City RAGBRAI® committee will be hosting a public “Town Hall Event” on Wednesday, April 16 from 7-8pm in the community’s City Hall located at 125 Central Avenue SE. At this event, Orange City’s distinct logo and theme for RAGBRAI LII® – for which the community will be the starting overnight host town – will be unveiled by the Publicity committee, and T-shirts sporting the logo will be for sale by the Hospitality team. In addition, the Entertainment committee will reveal the various entertainment/attractions that have been secured for the local RAGBRAI visit, which draws thousands of riders, support crews, vendors, and visitors to the host communities each summer.
Also during the April 16 gathering, residents will be introduced to we will roll out Neighborhood News Crews to keep neighborhoods informed, a community decorations initiative, an art contest and grand farewell project, and a “Light It Up Orange City” block party announcement. Break-out booths will offer community members an opportunity to learn more specifics and sign up to volunteer and to offer housing to RAGBRAI riders.
